In addition to serving as the medical director for OSF Medical Group, Dr. Lamont Tyler works as a team physician for the Bloomington Edge professional football team, the Bloomington Flex professional basketball team, and the Bloomington Thunder professional hockey team. With a specialty in family medicine, Dr. Lamont Tyler is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). The AAFP is currently preparing for its 2018 Family Medicine Board Review Express live course event, which will take place from Thursday, January 25 to Sunday, January 28. The event will be held in La Jolla, California, at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine. Designed to cover all areas of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) exam, the course will feature 48 presentations by board-certified physicians, over 200 case studies, interactivity to encourage participation, and online access to a self-guided study package. Attendees also can earn up to 80.25 AAFP-prescribed credits. Members of the AAFP or Allied Health can attend the event for $1,385, while students and residents pay $1,065.
